People come for the beer (I myself have had over 300 different kinds here over the years) but now that I'm an old man the food keeps me coming back. Get the jagerschnitzel with red cabbage and fried potatoes, they're good for you, and wash it down with a Maredsous Tripel while you're at it.

Good authentic atmosphere, just a fun nite out

Best selection of beers I have seen in a long time. Go around the world in beer! The food is very authentic German and excellent. I have never been disappointed.

Marikkas beer selection is unsurpassed! Where else in town (other than Liquor barn) are you going to get strong bow hard cider on tap? How many other places carry orvale on hand in the cooler?
Marikkas also has some of the best dart throwing facilities in town.

It reminds me of Cheers! The bartenders remember who you are! Plus - have you seen the amazing volleyball courts out back?!?!?

The beer selection is unbelievable! Good friendly service. Cool place with pool tables, dart boards and volley ball games out back!

Went tonight and it was good, actually very good. Goulash, schnitzel, red cabbage, fried potatoes, green beans, noodles, bier and German cake. So much food I couldn't eat it all and brought some home. Going back tomorrow for more of that cake--OMG! I lived in Germany for 2 years and I haven't had German food this good in a long, long time.

We've been going to Marikka's for years and have never had a bad meal. Their beer selection is a sight to behold. They have our favorite beer (Hoegaarden) on tap and the service is always great. The staff is friendly and the food is always well-prepared and comforting.

I'm not an expert on German food, but I really enjoyed Marikka's. I ordered the sauerbraten with spaetzle and green beans. The sauerbraten was a tad dry, but the flavor was great. Spaetzle, a type of German pasta, was served with a rich brown gravy on top, but was good on its own as well. Green beans were cooked well with good seasoning.
The portions here were borderline ridiculous. Bring an appetite or be prepared to take a box home. Give the place a try.

But you can order any menu item while in the bar. You just have to ask for a menu at the bar, and place your order there. You can put it on your tab.
What I have had there was authentic, and very good.
